Despite calls to upgrade quickly, Nokia is going to add just one phone based on its Maemo OS next year, a source said today. A tip to Reuters claims the N900 will get just a single companion model and that the rest of the lineup will continue to use some form of Symbian. The reason behind the supposed decision isn’t evident….

Now that the N900 is (almost) here, many people ask me if I’m going to release a new version of Vagalume for Maemo 5. Progress in Vagalume has been very slow this year, partly because of all the work we’ve been doing in Hildon Widgets . Fortunately, the next Vagalume release will be out very soon

Now, I wish this was enabled in N900 filemanager and mediaplayer music views directly… But in any case, I found a nice little utility called Petrovich that lets you share any individual file with the sharing framework (bluetooth, service plug-ins and email). Nice! 2009-11-30 11:05 UTC with score 0
