Today I’m releasing the first release of “econnman”, the EFL user interface for ConnMan . Some time ago raster added a ConnMan module to e17, but then the API broken during 0.5 transition and I rewrote that module. With ConnMan-1.0 the API was changed yet again and our module stopped working.

The MIR Translator app, borne out of a school project, turns your N900 into a handy translation tool that covers over 30 international languages. All you do is click a picture of the text, select the phrase you want to translate, select the to and from languages and wait for the app to work its magic.

In the last release of SeriesFinale some nice new features were introduced like live search of TV shows but there was a problem: I messed it up. Basically, you could live search but once you pressed on a show, a different would be selected… good job, I know… Anyway, the live search is fixed in this new version.

Front Page Valtteri Halla, MeeGo TSG member, resigns from Nokia Valtteri Halla , one of the two members of MeeGo's Technical Steering Group, has resigned from Nokia. In a tweet, he said: “Let's say it in plain english: I have resigned from #nokia today but I still have a heart for #meego” What this does to the make-up of the MeeGo TSG is uncertain, as is his next role.
