econnman-1 released
Today I’m releasing the first release of “econnman”, the EFL user interface for ConnMan . Some time ago raster added a ConnMan module to e17, but then the API broken during 0.5 transition and I rewrote that module. With ConnMan-1.0 the API was changed yet again and our module stopped working.

Painting video with GStreamer and Qt/QML or Gtk+ with overlay
As part of my work at Igalia I had to work with video and GStreamer for some years. I always used Gtk+ for that so when I needed to do things with Qt and QML , things were different. In my projects I always used pure GStreamer code instead of the Qt bindings for GStreamer because at the moment those bindings were not ready or reliable.

Six months ago, only three candidates stood and so were selected without a vote. RM Bauer has been the most visible member, with Momcilo Majic and Jeremiah Foster being mostly quiet.
